Our Location
Great Moor Sailing Club is situated on Grebe Lake near Calvert in the North Buckinghamshire Countryside. It is a friendly, family oriented sailing and windsurfing club founded 30 years ago. The club is 5 miles south of Buckingham, 10 miles North West of Aylesbury and 5 miles east of Bicester.
The man-made lake was formed from the closure of a brickworks clay pit and offers 65 acres of deep, constant level freshwater. The well-developed woodlands around the lake offer pleasant walking for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
The club provides opportunities for a wide variety of water based activities such as dinghy sailing, sail-boarding, fishing, scuba diving and canoeing. The sailing lake is home to a wide variety of bird life and a similar size lake close by is a designated nature reserve.

Directions
Coming from the South the entrance is on the left, approximately 300 yards after the Charndon/Calvert cross roads. If you cross the hump-back bridge you've gone too far!
From the North the entrance is on the right, about 300 yards after the hump-back bridge, approximately 1 mile after the cross roads to Twyford and Steeple Claydon.
