Shed Club

A group meets most Fridays to tackle projects and maintenance around the club. If you would like to find out more or join us contact Tony and you can join the mailing list.

We start at around 10, and refreshments and lunch are part of the day.


Activities are varied and can include

The current jobs list is:

  • Check Toppers for Junior training on 21st
  • Check pico hut lock
  • Rack Y - cut back vegitation
  • Empty buckets (eco)
  • Continue works for Outdoor washdown shower (plumbing and drainage)
  • Continue works for "wash down water tank" adjacent to the slipway Position LBC, connect up outlet
  • Adjust the moorings of the mirror jetty
  • Make boat stakes, cut angle to length, attach a chain
  • Prep for HS2 works
    • Sort container content
    • Review boats that need moving
    • Move Bosun trainer
  • Move the mooring buoy towards the shore
  • Renumber buoys to 9 3/4 and 10 from 10 11
  • Grass cutting as required
  • Water trees if required
  • Replace batteries in clubroom emergency lights
  • Tidy up fallen branches and review trees near the boundary

  • Clean filters in clubhouse heaters

  • Repair lamps in Drott shed
  • Sort storage for slalom buoys
  • Reposition racing mark #8
  • Paint Numbers on racing Buoys
  • Lift and reposition mooring buoy #3
  • Reposition the furthest mooring buoy
  • Continue to Refurbish the Bosun land trainer
  • Test emergency lights
  • Cut and split wood in lower woodshed and bag for sale
