Assisted Sailing Session

23rd August 2020, 10:30 - 13:00

We are running a session of assisted/guided sailing.

The activities need to fall within the current Government and RYA guidance for Covid-19

The aim is to have support available to give guidance on aspects of sailing, from rigging the boat through to sailing techniques from basic upwards.

The session is aimed at those that have done at least a Level 1 (adult) or Stage 2 (youth) . You have rigged a boat and sailed a little and can get back to the shore. It is not for complete beginners.

Note The clubhouse wil be open for the use of toilets. The bar and tea/coffee are also available. The changing rooms are not available so you will need to arrive prepared.

Numbers will be limited and booking is required.

Junior members will require an accompanying adult to assist with equipment movement, rigging and launch/recovery. Club helpers will be only able to assist with verbal guidance while distanced

A limited selection of club boats will be available for hire for the session. The craft must be booked in advance and equipment collected between 10:30 and 11:00. The craft will be assigned to an individual or self organised group and will not be hired again for at least 72 hours.

Please book a sailor ticket for each attendee
