August event

This is the fifth event of "Women who Launch" for 2023.

The aim of these sessions is to encourage women of all sailing skills and abilities to simply get out on the water and have fun.

You may want to enjoy a quiet sail without the pressure of racing or you may be a complete novice and want to take the opportunity to practice.

There will be experienced sailors on hand to assist and the Safety boat will be on the water.

We will endeavour to partner you with someone if you would like to take out a double-handed boat and do not feel confident. For those who do not have their own boat, we have a selection of Club boats available (free of charge).

There is no need to book, you can just turn up.

The Sunday sessions start at 2 pm and will finish with tea and cake, and maybe a glass or two on the Club's west-facing balcony.
