A two-day course following the RYA Stage 2 Syllabus on August 11th, 12th
A range of sailing skills and knowledge to help in becoming a confident sailor
Assumed Knowledge Stage 1 – Basic knowledge and steering ability
Course Content Basic sailing skills, ropework, and collision avoidance
Ability after the course Able to tack and control boat speed, and understand basic principles

The RYA Youth Sailing Scheme provides an enjoyable and progressive way to learn to sail. Each certified course provides an opportunity to record and recognise your achievements in this logbook on a dedicated log and certificate pages.

A two-day course following the RYA Level 2 Better Sailing Syllabus
Builds on the knowledge you will have gained on the Level 1 Start sailing course.
Assumed Knowledge Level 1 Start sailing
Minimum Age 16
Course Content How to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering
Ability after course Able to sail in light winds without an instructor on board

RYA National Sailing Scheme Syllabus and Logbook (G4) This book gives details of the syllabus of the RYA National Sailing Scheme for sailing dinghies, keelboats and multihulls with space for log entries and certificates.
