A range of sailing skills and knowledge to help in becoming a confident sailor

Assumed Knowledge
Stage 1 – Basic knowledge and steering ability

Course Content
Basic sailing skills, ropework, and collision avoidance

Ability after the course
Able to tack and control boat speed, and understand basic principles

Note that this course is only open to sailing members (Junior or Family). A parent or guardian must be present on-site for the duration of the course. For members of an affiliated group please get in touch with Tony on training@greatmoor.org.uk to discuss options.
