200 Club

GMSC 200 Club Rules

1. The 200 club is a private lottery and is open to any Member of GMSC,aged 16 or over.
2. For a cost of £5 per month (i.e. per draw) you will be randomly allocated one number between one and 200 which you will keep for the current membership year.
3. The prizes will total 35% of the total income for that draw month.
   This will be apportioned as: 1st prize of 20%, 2nd prize of 10% and 3rd prize of 5%
   Maximum Prize Money per month Assuming 200 Members (otherwise a proportion of monthly funds)
   • 1st Prize £ 200
   • 2nd Prize £ 100
   • 3rd Prize £ 50
4. Lottery Numbers are limited to two per membership/household.
5. Payments must be made by monthly DD with payment received by the 1st day of each month. If you wish to cancel, it is your responsibility to cancel your direct debit.
6. By setting up a direct debit for the scheme, you are agreeing to the rules of our 200 Club scheme
7. Member's numbers will only be entered into the draw if their payment has been received by the 1st of the month of any draw.
8. If a member has no valid reason for missing a payment, their number may be sold to someone on the reserve list.
9. The draw shall be made by the DCM on the third Sunday of each month unless stated otherwise.
10. The winning proceeds will be transferred to Bank Accounts of the winning members, within one week of the draw.
11. The name and numbers for each month's winners will be posted on the Club Facebook page, clubhouse notice board and website - unless you let us know on notice of winning.
12. The 200 club will be run by the Sailing Club. In case of any dispute the decision of the General Committee is final.
13. Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 200 club if their subscription renewal is cancelled, or remains unpaid for a period of one month.
14. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond, the winnings will be placed into Club funds after six months.
15. Members resigning from GMSC will forfeit the right to enter the draw. We draw your attention to rule 5 and confirm that any money paid into the scheme is non refundable
16. Setting up of a direct debit is not a guarantee of entry to the club - If the scheme is over subscribed, or you try and secure more than two entries, we reserve the right to cancel your direct debit thus removing you from the draw
17. GMSC reserve the right to change the scheme between draws and members will be notified of any changes
