Shed Club

- A group meets most Fridays to tackle projects and maintenance around the club. If you would like to find out more or join us contact Tony and you can join the mailing list.
We start at around 10, and refreshments and lunch are part of the day.
Activities are varied and can include

- Check the water level in the ditch.
- Heater in Men's changing room
- Oven

- Skip for scrap, to be delivered and filled
- Clear up C trott and trim trees
- Continue to clear the ditch behind the Clubhouse wood shed

- Replace the failed outside light on the clubhouse near the gate.
- Repair capstones on the BBQ
- Cut vegetation around canoe racks.
- Look at gear control on the Committee boat and adjust linkages for the correct neutral function.
- Check/clean the cowl on the clubhouse chimney
- Work on path/track at the western end of the lake
- Review rope and chain for buoy moorings
- Can we improve the signs for ECO toilets?

- Make good broken area on the main slip (remove loose material and use tarmac)
- Replace short reefing lines on Kestrel sails
- Check/Pump up kestrel trolley wheels
- Replace the emergency light in the ladies' changing room
- Continue to replace the start solenoid on the excavator and resolve the wiring problem.
- Cut and split some logs (needs Tractor)
- Check stock of Adult sailing log books
- Adjust racing mark 1 (lengthen chain or move to a (shallower position))
- Review main sheet horse on kestrels 1502 and 1503
- Trolley tyres on old trolley wheels
- Repair pico rudders
- Swap the Topper trailer for a club pico
- Paint Fuel store
- Continue replacement of racing marks
- Review safety 1 cover and plan actions
- Open ECO toilets.

- Move some "for sale" firewood and kindling to the clubroom
