Covid-19 September Update

Published 01:00 on 11 Sep 2020

I am sure your aware that there have been changes to the Covid-19 rules. Although guidance restricting gatherings to no more than 6 people from different households, both indoors and outside, does not become law until Monday September 14th, the committee would like to remind members that they should already be observing this limit at all times on site.

If you have invited guests to the club, there should be no more than 2 guests per membership (pre-registered with our secretary) and your whole group should not be more than 6 people. Family groups from the same household can be of any size. Parents are asked to ensure children keep to their own group as far as possible, both on and off the water.

We realise this is a big ask, particularly given the fine weather expected for the next few days.

When entering and leaving the clubhouse please remember to sanitise your hands with the hand gel.

Remember to touch your fob to the keypad at the gate on entry and exit of the site, even when following another car in or out. This allows us to know who was on site, and when, in case we have the need to contact you about a possible infection.

We are waiting for more clarification from the RYA on other procedures and will put out a further update next week.

Most importantly: If you, or any member of your family, feels ill please do not come to the club.
