Lawrence Godfrey Cup Results

Easter Sunday saw the new racing season fully underway with first of the Club's annual one day cup competitions the Lawrence Godfrey Cup. This was set up in memory of one of our founder members and father of long standing current member, Robin Godfrey. Robin plays a key role in the calculation, checking and collating of all the racing results. 12 sailors enjoyed the warm spring conditions to compete over 4 races for the trophy. This was won by Alastair Brown (Laser) with Katrine Brown (Streaker) second. Ian Richards and crew Jenny Blake (Wayfarer) fended off Roger Blake (Supernova) for a hard fought 3rd place.
