History

Great Moor Sailing Club was formed in 1972 by a group of like minded sailors who had the enthusiasum to take on the creation of a sailing club on a part filled clay pit with recent landfill on the site and the evidence of the clay extraction works all around. The articals in this section attempt to cover some of the key events and progress in the clubs history.
