About the Club
Welcome to Great Moor Sailing Club, on the beautiful Grebe Lake in North Bucks.
The club exists to support our members (of all ages and abilities) and promote sailing and paddle sports.
We support our members in a number of ways:
Full Members may use the lake at any time - Organised sailing takes place most Sundays throughout the year where members may race or cruise in the knowledge that a safety boat is on hand. Club craft are also available for hire to members at these times.
Training in both sailing and power-craft skills are run at the club and we also organise some less formal development sessions on some Wednesday and Friday evenings.
When not on the water, members can utilise our clubhouse to watch the sailing, warm up in front of the log burner, and on Sundays members run a galley lunch service and bar.
The site also has a number of paths that allow members to explore the woodland and glades that surround the lake and perhaps spot some of the wildlife that we share the site with.
If you would like to join our club, then take a look at the membership pages to find out more.
To read about the history of the club or the site there is a comprehensive library of information.
