Spooky 26 – Postponed to Saturday, 14th November

Regrettably, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Spooky 26, originally planned for this Saturday, 24th October.

With forecast wind gusts of up to 45 mph and heavy rain, we simply cannot take unnecessary risks with the safety of our members, guests and volunteers. We never like to postpone an event based on a weather forecast alone, but given the conditions expected, we believe this is the responsible decision.

The good news is that Spooky 26 will now take place on Saturday, 14th November, with a slightly later start time of 6 pm.

Full details will be shared next week, but you can still look forward to everything that makes Spooky 26 such a popular club event – Fun, Food & Fireworks!

All existing tickets will automatically remain valid for the new date, so there is no need to rebook or take any further action.

As always, events at GMSC rely on the generosity and enthusiasm of our volunteers. We’ll be contacting everyone who kindly offered to help with the original event to confirm their availability for the new date. Should we need additional support, we’ll reach out to the wider membership, and any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

If you’re unable to attend on the new date, or have any questions about your booking, please email enquiries@greatmoor.org.uk or speak to a committee member as soon as possible, ideally well ahead of the event.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support. Please be assured that this decision has not been taken lightly. Our priority is always the safety and enjoyment of everyone attending, and we want Spooky 26 to be a fantastic evening for all.
