Berthing (Storing) of Craft on site

The club provides berthing or racking space to allow full members to keep their craft on site at the club. Most of the boat spaces are now on hard standing, so require minimal gardening....

There are a few rules to adhere to and they exist to make the Berthing Masters life easier:

• A fee is payable (in advance) for the allocation and will cover the full season (or part thereof)
• No Craft will be permitted to stay on site without a berth allocation - do not bring a craft to site before you receive your allocation or you craft will be charged as an unauthorised craft
• You must store your craft in it's allocated location (See berthing plans above) - if you wish to change your allocation, please let the Berthing Master know the location you want to move to (assuming it is not already occupied)

• If you sell your craft, you can transfer the berth to the new owner (see managing Craft pages)
• If you wish to change the craft in your berth allocation, we can re-allocate you the same berth for your new craft for the rest of the year, so long as the original craft has been removed off site or to an agreed new location
• Every craft at the Club must be secured down within its allocated berth when left, and at all other times unless in use.
• Failure to comply with these rules may result in your allocation being removed.
• Unauthorised craft will be charged at the storage rate of £50 per month (or part thereof) and may be moved by the Berthing Master without any liability for damage. Unauthorised craft also refers to craft belonging to lapsed memberships or unpaid for allocation renewals.

Members should also be aware that the club reserves the right to execute a lien over any property on site in relation to outstanding fees. As such we are at liberty to dispose of any boats left on site to recover a debt, in accordance with the Constitution.
